If I Get Braces, How Long Do I Have To Wear Them?
The amount of time spent in braces can vary depending on the individual patient, as every smile responds differently to treatment. Treatment times can take anywhere between 12 - 30 months; however, most standard treatments take about 24 months.
Will I have to wear a retainer
for the rest of my life?
Dr. Buhl has proven that if teeth are straightened correctly they will stay straight for life WITHOUT the aid of lifetime retainers.
What Qualifications or Certifications Does An Orthodontist Have
An orthodontist is a dental specialist who has received two to three years of additional training and experience. Your orthodontist is able to straighten teeth, correct misaligned jaw structure, and improve the function of your smile.
